One of the surprise contenders for 2005's album of the year has been Infernal's magnificent From Paris To Berlin. The snarling techno-pop title track was a hit all over the continent (with one predictable exception) and the Danes have plenty more where that came from. The record is incongruously strong for a Euro-dance effort with at least six or seven potential singles. Quite why they felt the need to tack a cover of The Grid's Swamp Thing with extra shouty swearing on the end is something of a puzzle though. Careful With The Boys, containing the brilliant lyrics:

"Guys may be nice when you let
Them feast their hungry eyes
On your cute little thighs"

...is one of their finest moments.
