Club Contact

The new MP3 blog from London's club Contact. The idea is to allow people to hear new music they wouldn't have otherwise found but, if anyone has any copyright issues with a particular song, i'll take the link down. Songs are only available for a limited amount of time.

Unquestionably, the highlight of the August 31st event was the live show from Pay TV. Citing Margaret Thatcher and Paris Hilton as primary influences, listing their blood type as "awesome" and the equipment they use as "high heels and a microphone", the glamour girls stole the show at the Swedish heats for last year's Eurovision Song Contest with the anthemic Trendy Discotheque and returned this year with the equally mighty Refrain, Refrain. Sadly, they came last but remain, quite possibly, the greatest band in the entire world. Flying all the way from Stockholm to entertain an awestruck crowd, they gave a superlative performance complete with costume changes and amazing dance routines that nobody present will ever forget. It is vitally important that you go to their website and politely inform their record label that they need to make more of an effort to promote their finest asset. Quite frankly, the world needs them. Here's their turbo-charged cover of a Madonna classic.
